Sovereign Property Services (SPS) is committed to reducing the impact of its activities on the environment, assisting our customers in encouraging the use of environmentally friendly plant, sustainable materials, and recycle packaging.

SPS is working towards continuously improving its environmental performance in the workplace i.e. workshop, domestic properties and commercial sites.

To meet this commitment, we will pursue the following objectives:

To ensure compliance with all applicable environmental legislation
To reduce emissions and pollution
To improve waste management practices
To reduce consumption of natural resources
To minimise noise and other resources

To assist in the management of improving staff awareness
To continuously assess its environmental performance
All waste and rubbish will be taken to an approved waste disposal site
Where possible, we will use goods made from recycled materials
Recycle where possible

The necessary personnel along with financial resources will be allocated to assist the company in meeting its environmental objectives. In addition, SPS will continue to raise levels of environmental awareness throughout its workforce and to promote this understanding to its customers and suppliers.

As Managing Director, it is my responsibility to ensure that the company's policy is implemented and to this end and in recognition that injury, damage, and loss can be avoided, we have the responsibility for coordinating the overall effectiveness of the environmental policy within the company.

The business will promote and encourage environmental working attitudes by active participation from all employees, and accepts responsibility for the environmental impact of persons other than its own employees who may be affected by its works activities.

QUALITY POLICY

SPS places the standard of workmanship and the quality of the finished product as an essential part of its business operations. It is therefore the quality policy statement of sovereign to develop and maintain a quality management system that conforms to the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001, so that the business can provide and maintain a consistent high quality in all work undertaken.

A quality management system will ensure that proper communications, operating procedures and records are generated for all work undertaken, as a means of achieving the company's objectives.

The employees of SPS are essential in the company's objectives and therefore all staff is thoroughly vetted prior to commencement to ensure that they have the necessary skills for the job.

The company's quality goals include the following:

Establishing a quality policy appropriate to the needs of the business
Achieving and maintaining the ISO 9001 quality standard
Experienced staff are regularly appraised by Senior Management on the job at hand and any feedback given to improve the finished product
Provide employee training to maintain knowledge of the leading-edge technologies
SPS will use the best materials & tools supplied to finish the job at hand
Inferior materials or inefficient tooling will be returned to the supplier
SPS will do all possible to ensure that undue time is not lost on any job requested
Achieving and maintaining a level of quality which will enhance the company's reputation
Establishing external communication on quality issues and policies with interested parties through opportunities for training and awareness on quality issues

Before hand over, Senior Management will assess the job to ensure that the job has been finished to SPS high standards
SPS will not pass a job as complete until our Senior Management assessment has been completed
SPS will advise and inform all staff of this policy statement
Reviewing the continued stability of the quality policy and revising as appropriate at regular intervals.
SPS will use current best practice to ensure that this quality statement is successful in its application.
